Sorry, I haven't been around. But it's for all the right reasons. My roleplaying card is constantly filled, these days.
I started Once More Unto the Breach to be a vehicle for, and chronicle of, my personal journey back to roleplaying after a hiatus from the hobby. Finding the OSR and all the associated blogs back around 2009 was (as cliche as it sounds) a revelation for me. Through a simple web search, I found a path forward to where I am today, part of a thriving community of gamers that keeps me busy and happy!
So, I guess you could say I am well and truly beyond the breach! And for that, I am grateful! I'm definitely going to keep Once More Unto the Breach up and running, but I'm going to be focusing my energies on my new site, Silverbeard Games. It's where I'm going to be posting about what I'm running and creating in the RPG realm. It's also where I'll talk about the people I meet along the way.
I've grown old(er) in pursuit of this pastime of ours, folks. My beard has indeed become silver, but my enthusiasm for roleplaying has only grown.
Thanks to all of you who have been my companions from back when this blog started out. It's been fun, and it's only getting better! Hope to see you at the table! Game on!
